Manila International Book Fair 2016 Haul!

It’s that time of the year again where my wallet cries for help: the Manila International Book Fair!

This year, I went on the first day (September 14, Wednesday) and on the third day (September 16, Friday). I usually go two days; one for family (my aunt and I have this “tradition” that we go every year together) and one with friends.

On the first day, I was actually surprised to see that there are fewer people than usual. It was very spacious and we had a fun time going around buying books!

The thing about the MIBF is that my friends and family plan for months ahead of time so that our schedule would be clear enough to spend the day at the SMX Convention Center. This year, I told myself to stick to my “book list” so that I can control how much books I would get and how much money I’d use. Luckily, I (sorta) followed my list this year!

Asia Pop Comic Con 2016!

Taking a break from all the Japan posts, I’m going to write about my experience in this year’s Asia Pop Comic Con (#APCC2016)! 🙂

Last Saturday (August 27,2016), my best friend Courtney and I went to this year’s Asia Pop Comic Con!

The event was held at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City. We were really excited for the event, so when we entered, we were amazed already at all the people and the set-up!
